Two of our favorite Cologne imprints are SUPERMOLL and its sub label LABOR - both fronted by DJ and producer LUDWIG ZIBELL, whose sparkle is evinced by a sound selection and finely tuned DJ sets. However, it’s the analog-sourced dance music he churns out himself that really caught our attention - kinetic, catchy and slightly off-kilter, his cuts feel confident, but they don't behave like dicks... basically the sonic equivalent to a perfect wingman, or BFF techno, as we like to call it. For his LOW HANGING FRUIT label debut, Ludwig drops four prime slices of clubnip, from the slightly psychotic bounce of title track KORRUPT to screwball banger CAT FLU REACHES THE AMERICAS, earwormy power ballad YOU CAN LIE and the funky drama of SINCE WE ARE NEVER TOO LATE. No filler, all killer, indeed.
